ADOPTING A FRIEND

will take a few days. Once we review the completed application, and
that is approved, we will then schedule a home visit and a socialization
day. That day we will bring the dachshund to your home and we will do
the home check and interview. We would like the entire family to be
there so that we can see how everyone interacts with each other.

Pet ownership is a lifelong commitment. Don't get a pet until you are
sure you have the resources and time to care for this animal for the rest of
his or her life. Realize this living being is counting on you…that nobody is perfect…and that adjustment and training take time. In return you will be rewarded with unconditional love.
